Annie Rohlin joined the BirthCare staff in June, 2016. For the past 36+ years she has worked with mothers, babies and families. This is her passion. For as long as Annie can remember she has been around babies. She comes a long tradition of helping and caring for others. She is one of 14 children (number 10). Annie was born in Washington D.C. and was raised in Michigan.
Her education includes a Diploma in Nursing from Mercy School of Nursing of Detroit (1980), Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from Marymount College of Virginia (1986) and a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania (1988).
She lives in Takoma Park, Maryland with her husband Richard. It is here that they raised their 2 sons, Samir and Remzi. Both were born at home with the help of nurse-midwives. Her sons are venturing out in the world and doing amazing things in the areas of civil rights and film.
In her free time Annie enjoys sewing, swimming and spending time with her family. She looks forward to working with you.
