Why BirthCare, Why Now
Across the United States, families are searching for safer, more personalized, and more respectful maternity care. At the same time, maternal health outcomes continue to present serious challenges, and access to community-based care remains limited.
BirthCare was created to help change that.
For decades, BirthCare has provided compassionate, evidence-based midwifery care rooted in relationship, informed decision-making, and respect for families. Our model reflects what many families are seeking today—care that is clinically grounded while remaining deeply personal and community-centered.
Today, BirthCare is entering an important period of growth.
As demand for midwifery-led care continues to increase, we are working to strengthen operations, expand access to care, deepen partnerships, and advance a long-term vision for sustainable, community-rooted maternity services.
To support this work, we are building a strong Advisory Council of experienced leaders who can provide strategic perspective and guidance as we grow.
About the Advisory Council
The BirthCare Advisory Board is composed of respected professionals and community leaders who bring diverse expertise and perspective.
Advisory Board members do not hold fiduciary governance responsibilities but instead serve as trusted advisors to the organization’s leadership.
Members provide insight on strategic initiatives, help identify opportunities for growth and partnership, and act as ambassadors for BirthCare within their professional and community networks.
